A deeply personal and touching story about family and separation. It follows TV presenter Colm Flynn as he tries to track down a young boy named Banni who his family fostered from Belarus 16 years ago. Banni was a victim of Chernobyl and lived with the Flynns for a year and a half. The family fell in love with the boy and wanted to adopt him but were blocked by the Belarusian authorities and he was taken back to the special needs orphanage where he came from. Now Colm hopes to find Banni to find out how he’s doing and what the future holds for him.
